“ My wife and I had dinner at the Happy Hour Tavern last night. This place has a great up north feel with a cozy laid-back atmosphere. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated almost immediately. We beat the rush. Our server was also very friendly and very helpful with the description of the menu. The menu is not gluten-free friendly, however there are a couple items that can be made gluten-free. One of them being the smoked pork chop which my wife enjoyed very much. She actually used the word “succulent” when she described it to me. I had the fried walleye fillets and they were also very good. The music was great, the food was great, and the service was great! Do yourself a favor and try this one out. You won’t regret it. ”
